Croce\u2019s albums and it\u2019s\u00a0clear that he holds an abiding love for all kinds of music –\u00a0Blues, Soul, Pop, Jazz, and Rock n\u2019 Roll.\u00a0It is readily apparent too that people love\u00a0Croce\u2019s\u00a0diverse approach to music. His nine albums have all charted, and done so on an impressive array of charts: Top 40, Blues, Americana, Jazz, Independent, College, and Radio 1, to name a few. The Nashville-based singer\/songwriter also has landed 18 singles on variety of Top 20 charts as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

A virtuoso piano player, Croce toured with\u00a0B.B. King\u00a0and\u00a0Ray Charles\u00a0before reaching the age of 21, and, over his career, he has performed with a wide range of musicians, from\u00a0Willie Nelson\u00a0to the\u00a0Neville Brothers;\u00a0Bela Fleck\u00a0to\u00a0Ry Cooder.\u00a0A.J. has also co-written songs with such formidable tunesmiths as\u00a0Leon Russell, Dan Penn, Robert Earl Keen\u00a0and multi-Grammy winner\u00a0Gary Nicholson.<\/span><\/p>\n

The late, great New Orleans piano man, and Croce hero,\u00a0Allen Toussaint\u00a0might have described A.J.\u00a0most succinctly when he proclaimed: \u201cIn such a crowded music universe it is a pleasure to witness triple uniqueness: pianist, songwriter, singer and at such a level, and who does he sound like?
