Los Angeles\u2019 THE JACKS–Jonny Stanback (lead vocals\/rhythm guitar), Tom Hunter (lead guitar, vocals), Scott Stone (bass guitar, vocals) and Josh Roossin (drums\/percussion)–will release their second EP, REMEMBER YOU<\/u>, on March 6 via EDGEOUT Records\/UMe, the label is spearheaded by veteran music executive Tony Guanci who signed an exclusive global deal for the new label with UMG. To celebrate the release, they\u2019re heading out on their first U.S. headlining tour.<\/p>\n

The road may be long, but THE JACKS take it in stride as they continue pursuing their rock \u2018n\u2019 roll dream by playing live every chance they get. From acoustic kickback sessions and clubs in their hometown Los Angeles, to festivals and touring nationally as a support act, are headed for the next stage with the release of their new EP.<\/p>\n

With multiple GRAMMY\u00ae Award-winning producer Joe Chiccarelli (The Raconteurs, The White Stripes, My Morning Jacket, Minus The Bear, Frank Zappa, among many other rock greats) at the helm, THE JACKS\u2019 momentum continues to build with new tour dates across the country. The band once again delivers original songs infused with their passion for guitar-driven, groove-propulsive rock \u2018n\u2019 roll.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>THE JACKS shine on the heartfelt angst of \u201cWe Were Only Young,\u201d followed by \u201cOlivia,\u201d the second instant grat track and lyric video from REMEMBER YOU<\/u>. Released on Valentine\u2019s Day, \u201cOlivia\u201d is a guitar-strumming, summer lovers walking-hand-in-hand rocker if there ever was one. With a twist, the song\u2019s romantic simplicity softens an emotional plea to reconsider breaking off what could be (\u201c\u2026if you believe in me, then I\u2019ll believe in you\u2026\u201d). Next, the soaring anticipation of \u201cThe Only One\u201d finds the foursome once again \u201cjacking\u201d up the energy.<\/p>\n

REMEMBER YOU<\/u> also includes \u201cJust A Little Bit\u201d. That this song closes the EP serves as notice: THE JACKS are simply revving up. \u201cJust A Little Bit\u201d opens with drums and bass joined by guitars and evokes out-on-the-open-road energy, shifting into high gear on the opening lyric, \u201cI\u2019ve been chasing something lately\u2026\u201d With nearly 500,000 streams, fans will recall an early version of \u201cJust A Little Bit\u201d earned the band its first signing offer (which they subsequently passed on so they could focus on songwriting), a decision that led to their deal with EDGEOUT Records.<\/p>\n

For THE JACKS, the quartet zeroed in on five essentials from sold-out shows at iconic Los Angeles venues The Troubadour and Roxy, plus clubs and bars throughout the U.S. In 2019, including New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Houston, Phoenix, Denver, Washington D.C., Little Rock, Lexington, and Columbus, where they took the stage at Mapfre Stadium\u00a0as part of the inaugural Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival\u00a0along with Foo Fighters, The Cult, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, The Hives, The Struts, and many others. THE JACKS\u2019 debut EP not only introduced the band to fans across the country, but also went on to achieve more than two million streams.<\/p>\n

THE JACKS formed in Los Angeles in the summer of 2016, united by a passion for rock \u2018n\u2019 roll. They started playing around Los Angeles and entered a local radio station\u2019s battle-of-the-bands competition in\u00a02017, winning the grand prize of a recording contract. Instead, they respectfully passed on the prize and continued to tour and work on songs, eventually signing with EDGEOUT Records in 2018 and recording their first studio EP in 2019 with legendary producer Matt Wallace (Faith No More, Maroon 5, Blackberry Smoke) and GRAMMY\u00ae-winning engineer Andrew Scheps (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Adele) to mix and bring out group’s natural exhilaration. Other highlights in 2019 include performances at the NFL pre-Super Bowl and NHL Winter Classic events. THE JACKS\u2019 music was also chosen to be heard during the 2019 Stanley Cup playoff games\u2019 broadcasts, highlight reels, and commercial bumpers.<\/p>\n
