ImageI honestly can’t believe that I have never seen WILCO perform live in the 13 years since their 1995 debut, A.M., found its way into my world….How could this happen? I was not taking any chances on this night as I paired up with my brother, Samuel, to guarantee I made this one. I am so glad i did….

Jeff Tweedy has always seemed like someone I can relate to with a layered complexity that proceeds his every breathing moment – conscious or not. One thing I will say about the dude is that he is a survivor. The guy always lands on his feet thru band breakups, line-up changes, addiction, mental illness and record label controversies. I can respect that.

This night would prove to be a solid live WILCO injection that as memorable as it was seemed bittersweet in the sense of all that I have missed over the years. WILCO creates not a wall of sound but a WAVE….Set after set the guys rarely disappoint.
