Fogerty!!What can you honestly say about John Fogerty, he’s a legend. The songs of Creedence Clearwater Revival are a part of the American landscape. They are forever sewn into the fabric of this land. These songs evoke a feeling in you that very few bands can even hope to produce. Of course, Fogerty has had his fair share of success on his own, creating even more legendary songs. With all this said, the first question is, how does a man who means so much to the world of music not fill up the Verizon Wireless Theater? The second question is, why isn’t he filling up a stadium?

Call this review what you will, but you can’t deny the place Fogerty has in this world. Enough of the hyping, let’s get to the show.

Fogerty rolled out on stage with a modest set up and his band flanking him. While supporting a new album, Fogerty did not waste the night trying to sell it, hype it or over expose anyone to it. He did what he does best, go through an awe inspiring songbook that brought everyone to their feet.

With that unmistakable voice, Fogerty rolled through Center Field, Born on the Bayou, Proud Mary and many other classics. It was hard to stop singing along as the night progressed.

Honestly, with a catalog of songs like these and an icon like Fogerty, what else do you need out of a rock concert?
